The goal was to craft a home that combines efficiency, ample social spaces, and a modern aesthetic with the owners’ classic pieces.
The Heart of the Home: A Spacious Living Room
At the project’s core, the living room unfolds as a vast, harmonious space, bathed in light from large windows. Furthermore, this area serves as a central hub, marrying function with form.
Study Area: Flexibility in Design
Also, the adjacent study area blends into the living space yet can become private when necessary. ‘Smart’ glass technology provides this versatility, ensuring privacy on demand.
A Kitchen That Transforms
In addition, the open kitchen concept, closely integrated with the living area, can be enclosed by a wooden door that matches the surrounding woodwork. This design continuity is also evident in the corridor that connects the living and sleeping areas, where a mirror strategically amplifies the space and light.
Local artisans have meticulously crafted almost all the furniture to specification, while the grey and brown color scheme, alongside the natural oak parquet flooring, adds warmth and sophistication.
