About Two Level Penthouse

Forging Bonds Through Design

Our clients consistently revel in quality outcomes from our design collaborations. Over time, many of them evolve into cherished friends and, consequently, are eager to reunite on new projects. Such was the serendipitous case with this penthouse venture.

A Nostalgic Remodel

Our inaugural partnership with this penthouse dates back to 2000. Fast forward 17 years, and the owner felt an itch for a fresh functional layout paired with contemporary flair. Striving to strike a balance between cost-effectiveness and the “wow” factor, the transformation began. Consequently, what once stood as a residential apartment morphed seamlessly into a sybarite’s dream studio.

The apartment’s first level centers splendidly around a plush sofa zone. Here, a state-of-the-art media center and a bespoke fireplace take prominence. Initially, we passionately envisioned an 8-meter (approximately 26 feet) natural wild stone wall to serve as the design’s centerpiece. However, due to budget constraints and floor load considerations, we had to pivot. Nevertheless, with the aid of decorative plaster and skilled artisans, our vision found its way into reality through a striking sculptural bas-relief.

From the penthouse’s original blueprint, the boxing ring and punching bag remain untouched. However, we breathed new life into the seating, furnishings, and lighting. Additionally, we tailored most interior elements uniquely for the client, drawing inspiration from our own creative sketches. Transitioning to the second level, which is earmarked for sleep and relaxation, it stands distinct from the studio. A metal grille and a see-through wardrobe, complete with an in-built shower, elegantly facilitate this separation.

Redefining Masculine Luxury

In the end, the penthouse makeover triumphed. It emerged as a space that’s simultaneously understated yet bold; minimalist yet audacious; practical, yet overflowing with inspiration. Undoubtedly, it’s a harmonious blend of masculine elegance.
