Located in one of the most prestigious areas of Rome, the Aventino Penthouse offers stunning terraces that flood every room with natural light. To emphasize this luminosity, the living area has been opened up as much as possible, allowing visual communication between the kitchen, dining room, and entrance.
The Staircase is Rediscovered and Emphasized
Previously hidden within a wall, the staircase has been “rediscovered” and emphasized while exploiting the space in width and highlighting its architectural lines. The living room fireplace wall is surrounded by symmetrical niches, creating a centrality that gives it depth and importance. Art is a prominent feature in every room, merging with the architecture itself.
Family-Oriented Dining and Kitchen Areas
The dining and kitchen areas are designed to be experienced spontaneously in everyday life, yet the refined style is still evident through the shapes, perspectives, and preciousness of materials. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms comprise the sleeping area, while the upper floor houses a study space, a guest bedroom, and a bathroom overlooking the marvelous Roman roofs.
