About Wuhan UICENTER Showroom

A City Oasis: The Black Forest in Wuhan

Nestled in Wuhan, China, this project spans 220 sq.m (2,368 sq.ft). Its design paints a vivid picture of a “black forest in the city”—a space that embodies coziness, serenity, and emotion.

Stepping Into Timeless Elegance

Enter the living room, and vintage charm immediately greets you. An upward-reaching green plant, a sprawling cactus, and a leather chair intertwine, manifesting tranquility amidst urban tension. Surrounding you, silent objects—like a curated book collection, timeworn artifacts, a dark wood table, and a bronze carpet—whisper stories of their own.

Windows to Nature’s Rhythms

By the window, views of the river subtly change, marking the passage of meals and seasons. In the bedroom, cleverly overlaid blocks add dimension and intrigue, challenging traditional design boundaries. Meanwhile, the study beckons, unveiling a world of knowledge and history. Stacked books, ancient Roman statues, a rolled wool carpet, and a striking red stone echo the owner’s profound inner world.

Designers’ Vision Comes to Life

The designers voiced their hope, saying, “We aim for the simple sceneries and objects to evoke deep emotional memories and seamlessly integrate into daily life.”

Consequently, they’ve sculpted an inspiring sanctuary. Here, nature’s essence, time’s imprints, and diverse artistic expressions converge in harmony.
