About Fremont House

Fremont House: Sustainable Serenity in Catskill Mountains

Nestled deep within the Western Catskill Mountains, the Fremont House stands out as a beacon of sustainable living. Surprisingly close to Roscoe, this solar-powered retreat exists harmoniously with nature. Spanning 1000 sqft (approximately 92.9 sqm), it boasts two bedrooms, a bathroom, and expansive living spaces. The clever layout not only segregates public from private but also positions communal areas on the ground and bedrooms above.

Design Philosophy: Nature and Modernity

Initially, we envisioned a contemporary home that is both affordable and tech-savvy. By taking control of our energy consumption, we prioritize quality over abundance. Our mission then revolves around forging a future intertwined with nature for the present and succeeding generations. This structure champions individuality and self-reliance. Moreover, it signifies a harmony between human existence and the environment. Thus, it results in an architectural design that stands timeless, bridging the physical and the profound. The house, through its sustainable technologies, continually remains self-reliant and environmentally connected.

Solar Generation: Pioneers in Green Energy

Originating in New York’s captivating Hudson Valley, Solar Generation powers the Fremont House. Since inception, Todd and Jason, the founders, have consistently endeavored to harness the region’s vibrant spirit. They not only deliver unmatched solar installations but also fortify environmental health in the process.

For years, Paul has been at the helm of Solar Generation, ardently pushing forward this green legacy. Deeply entrenched in renewable and clean technologies, he and his team now envision a brighter, eco-friendly community. Furthermore, Solar Generation’s ambition is clear. They aim to simplify the solar transition while keeping it affordable. Beyond mere business, they are committed to community prosperity, engaging in both local and global goodwill ventures. Additionally, they spearhead solar farm projects throughout the Hudson Valley, underscoring the importance of diversification, independence, and sustainability for future generations.
