About Mountain Home

Welcome to Mountain Home, a modern mountain house in Aspen, Colorado. Conceived by Robbins Architecture in 2016, this home offers a seamless blend of design and nature.

A Modern Marvel in Aspen

Mountain Home stands as a beacon of modern design amidst the rugged landscape of Aspen. Its clean lines and expansive glass façades embrace the outdoor scenery, inviting nature into every corner. The exterior, a symphony of wood and glass, speaks to the modern aesthetics, reflecting Robbins Architecture’s vision for contemporary mountain living.

Stepping inside, the fluid transition from outdoors to in is palpable. The living room, bathed in natural light, offers panoramic views of the surrounding hills. Simple, comfortable furnishings underscore the home’s connection to its environment without detracting from the breathtaking vistas.

Interior Elegance

The kitchen and dining area continue the theme of simplicity and light. High-end appliances and a minimalist approach to design ensure functionality without excess. Here, the mealtime gatherings are framed by the mountainous backdrop, visible through floor-to-ceiling windows.

Adjacent to the communal heart of the house, the bedrooms provide a personal retreat. Warm wood tones and plush textiles create an inviting atmosphere, while large windows ensure the presence of the outdoors is never lost.

In the bathroom, one finds a balance of luxury and restraint. The clean lines of the fixtures and the subtle use of textures offer a spa-like tranquility, complementing the home’s overarching theme of understated sophistication.

A Seamless Flow

The connectivity of the home is exemplified by the floating staircase, a striking feature that marries form and function. Ascending the stairs feels like moving through a piece of art, with each step offering a new perspective of the architectural harmony within.

Mountain Home is not just a residence but a retreat that celebrates modern design and nature’s grandeur in equal measure. It’s a space where light, landscape, and living come together, crafted with a clarity that echoes the crisp mountain air. This is mountain living redefined, by Robbins Architecture, for the contemporary dweller.
