About Zhyty Dali

In 2022, as Ukraine braced for conflict, a heartfelt home project unfolded. However, while final touches were underway and the family eagerly anticipated their house-warming, the war abruptly interrupted their joy. But even in the face of adversity, this resilient family presses on. They cherish every moment and ignite hope in others, proving it’s vital to strive for a brighter future in Ukraine.

Blending Urban and Natural

The family desired their apartment’s interior to mirror a cozy, eco-friendly home infused with modern flair. Loving the city’s pulse and perks, they weren’t keen on living outside it. Nevertheless, they longed for an urban haven that echoed heartfelt sentiments. Consequently, we embraced an earth-toned palette, and incorporated elements like clay, stone, wood, and hints of grass. To top it off, we intertwined touches of authentic Ukrainian art, crafted by the gifted Tasha Oro.

Tailored for Professional Needs

The need for a quiet office was clear, especially since the homeowner, a skilled presenter, often hosts online shows. Therefore, to cater to this, we integrated soft panels that mute sounds and lined curtains that further dampen noise. As Julia Baydyk, the project’s visionary from Alta Idea Studio, highlighted, “To enhance spatial perception in a tight corridor, we strategically positioned reflective bronze mirrors. Additionally, their glow gives a sense of openness.”

Design Aesthetics

With clean lines and gentle curves, the design provides a tranquil backdrop. Moreover, the neutral base is enlivened by bursts of terracotta, pink, and blue. Meanwhile, recycled pieces introduce a mix of playful sophistication, ensuring the home remains a haven of warmth and modern elegance.
