A Modern Facelift for an Old Building
In the picturesque village of Mellau, at the foot of the slope, an old, dilapidated house was demolished and replaced with a modern, four-story building with 7 apartments and a hipped roof. Its compact, simple and constructive design makes it efficient and affordable to build, while its energy-efficient passive house standard and high-quality, ecological insulation of all heated components ensure low operating costs.
The building offers a magnificent view of the breathtaking local mountain Kanisfluh, not far from the village center of Mellau. Its large window areas open up to the balcony and the natural landscape, allowing guests to take in the stunning scenery.
The timelessness that the interior brings forms a clear type of elements that can be found everywhere in the building. With its elegant design, modern amenities and close proximity to nature, this new building is a stunning addition to the village of Mellau.
